NINA CAREW

director

Nina has over 18 years experience in the performing industry and children have always been involved. She began by bringing characters like Blinky Bill, Snoopy and Bob the Builder to life on live tours around Australia.

In 1993 Nina obtained her Diploma of Performing Arts (UNSW) and in 2000 she travelled to Christchurch New Zealand to train at the Polytechnic College for her Diploma in Circus Arts. In 2001 she began teaching what she had learned, running circus workshops for children in her local area. They have been a big success ever since. In 2002, Nina was approached by the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) to teach their circus program for children 8-17 years. In 2003 she ventured to the USA to teach summer circus camps for children 6-16 years.

To be able to combine her love of children, perfomance and circus skills all into one career is her dream.

Nina holds a Senior First Aid Certificate with St Johns Ambulance Service.
